Meeting Tuesday, November 14th
Doors open for setup at 6:30PM, Meeting 7:00-8:45PM
Lots happening on the ManVan scene and by the time the meeting arrives,
the volunteers from the support group will have worked at least 3 ManVan
events. There are several more clinics to be scheduled in the coming weeks.
Permanent placement of one of the vans in YEG will happen in 2024. This is
a volunteer position. However the Calgary Prostate Centre does pay those
that act as hosts or drivers. Many hands make for little work and we could
use more hands. If you would like a little cash in your jeans or would like
to add fun to your life, here is an opportunity. And it has been fun
todate.
Thanks to members Les and Edith McElwain, Cliff Fletcher, Ron Ross, Kevin
Cowan, Eric Rice, Rick Hayes, Kelly Keen, Michael Tilleard and Randy
Peterson for making the 1st 3 events a smashing success. The Calgary team
has been in YEG helping out and they are amazing and committed folks
that make it easy..
Our speaker at the *November 14th* meeting will be Ray Provencher (under 60
yrs of age) and presently undergoing PC treatment. Ray has been a regular
at our meetings and already made us a better organization with his
presence. Come and support Ray and learn about how the Kipness Prostate
Centre is rapidly introducing new treatments for PC patients.

We will provide light snacks and drinks at the meeting.
As always, you are encouraged to bring along a friend or family member that may be facing a PC diagnosis. If you are aware of someone struggling with PC, let us know and we will try to help.
