Prostate Cancer Support Edmonton

UPCOMING MEETING SCHEDULE

Tuesday, December 9, 2025

Doors open 6:30pm, Meeting: 7:00 pm – 8:45 pm
Wellspring Edmonton House, 11306 65 Ave NW

We had another great gathering on November 11, sharing information and personal
experiences. Glad to have new members join us to engage with the group to discover and
benefit from real peer support for our journeys. Thank You, All !
On December 9th we take a look at Incontinence. We have a video presentation mounted on
the YouTube app, by Dr.Chasta Bascu, speaking to the Island Prostate Centre, Victoria BC.
The video covers a very informative range: what incontinence is, its incidence and impact,
related anatomy, types of incontinence, what can be done about it, and more. The 43 minute
presentation is very interesting and informative; it answers several common questions and
offers good items for our consideration.
Following the video, we will reconfigure to a circle formation, providing opportunity to share and
add personal thoughts and ideas to build upon Dr. Bascu’s presentation.
As always, you are encouraged to bring along a family member and/or friend who may be facing
a PC diagnosis. If you are aware of someone struggling with PC, let us know and we will try to
help.
We will provide light snacks and coffee/water at the meeting.

Question and answer session to follow.

Talk to a member that has received prostate cancer treatment

You may not want to ask questions at a group meeting. You may want to speak with someone having the same issues. You may want to talk with someone who has gone through the same treatment you are considering. Or after treatment, you may be dealing with complications.
