UPCOMING MEETING SCHEDULE

Tuesday February 11th, 2025

Doors open 6:30pm, Meeting: 7:00 pm – 8:45 pm
Wellspring Edmonton House, 11306 65 Ave NW

This month we will try to capture hope for those men with Stage 4 prostate cancer. Alex Rolland is a globally recognized Precision Cancer Medicine specialist. He is based in Vancouver and the founder of Cancer Treatment Options and Management and Liquid Biopsy Labs.
Our plan is to have Alex Rolland join us from Vancouver on a video call to present his treatment suggestions for treatment of stage 4 cancer.

Time permitting, we will open the floor for members seeking understanding of their disease.

As members know, we try hard not to offer medical advice. We are comfortable members have enough knowledge of their disease that they will view or listen to information and determine if it is a personal fit.

Looking forward to seeing members on February 11th.

We will provide light snacks and drinks at the meeting.

As always, you are encouraged to bring along a friend or family member that may be facing a PC diagnosis. If you are aware of someone struggling with PC, let us know and we will try to help.

Question and answer session to follow.

We are fortunate to have Dave Doucette-Preville as our speaker this month. Dave is a practicing radiologist with MIC. MIC is the approved AHS provider for PSMA Pet scans in Edmonton. Dave has a wealth of knowledge on the use of PSMA Pet scans to identify PC that has migrated beyond the prostate. He may be involved in administering Pluvicto, a Health Canada approved radioligand for treatment of positive metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. Several of our members unfortunately find themselves in this situation.

It would be great to see many members in attendance and show appreciation to Dave for taking time from his busy professional practice and his family to share his expertise with the members.

We will provide light snacks and drinks at the meeting.
